Care
To make each piece as Eco-friendly as possible within the brief, I consider its purpose, intended use and desired longevity, which determines the choice of materials and whether the work is made to be biodegradable, fully recyclable, or made to last using upcycled and waste materials.
Sculpture and Props made with Natural Biodegradable materials are best kept out of humid and damp conditions. Each work will come with a Care Label if special conditions are needed to ensure its preservation.
Naturally dyed fabric is best kept out of direct sunlight, even when drying. Wash with PH neutral soap if necessary and dry in the shade.
Although best measures are taken to create a long lasting dye, like with any natural material, it is ethereal, the colour is alive and likely to change and alter overtime.
